So this morning I woke up to the rain hitting my window and decided to go ahead and go for a run outside. Crazy, I know. But I must say that running in the rain is quite a refreshing and fun experience (except you can't really see a whole lot with the rain dripping in your eyes!). :)
Off I went in my truck, Thomas, at 8:11 this morning and found a new spot to explore. It didn't take long for my shirt and shorts to get soaked, but the run was a delight.
I think my dog, Yul, likes the rain too. Right now I can see him from my bedroom window walking around outside and meddling in puddles of water. So much for a dry clean dog!
It's a good day to be alive and I am thankful for all the memories God's given me...sweet memories of laughter with life-long friends and smiles that will last for a life time. It's a good day. :)
